Poplar fork pocket knife
This folding knife is handcrafted in Thiers, the historic center of French cutlery. The handle is made from poplar fork wood, a section of the tree known for its natural grain patterns and tonal variations, giving each knife a distinct appearance.
The blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel. This steel is selected for its stability and edge retention over time. The polished finish highlights the blade surface, while the Nogent-style swedge provides a clearly defined profile.
The spacer features an oxidized “life line” pattern integrated into a balanced construction. The handle includes a constellation-style decorative insert. A2 steel screws and polished liners reflect precise assembly work. The 10 cm blade is secured by a Liner Lock mechanism.
As wood is a natural material, visual variations may occur from one knife to another. Cleaning after use and storing the knife in a dry environment are recommended to maintain the handle and finishes. Each knife is produced through French artisanal craftsmanship.
