Terms of Sales

1 - INFORMATION The purpose of these terms of sales is to govern the contractual relations between the workshop 1515 whose head office is located at 4, rue Camille Joubert-63300-Thiers-FRANCE, registered with RCS Clermont-Ferrand B 852 085 869 VAT intra-community FR 32 852085869 and the customer defined as being the user of the website www.1515-laplace.com. These terms of sales are governed by French law. The competent courts are those of the place of the headquarters of the workshop 1515. 2- FORMATION OF THE SALES AGREEMENT Orders placed on the 1515-laplace.com site engage the customer upon receipt by our customer service of the order and its payment. In the event of payment by check or bank transfer, orders placed on the 1515-laplace.com site are binding on the customer upon receipt by our customer service of the order. Any order implies acceptance without restriction or reservation to these terms of sales. 3- PRICE The prices of our products are indicated in euros all taxes (TVA and other taxes) included excluding participation in shipping costs. All orders are payable in euros. For countries out ouf the European Union, the price is indicated without taxes. To this must be added any customs duties and value added taxes applicable in the country where the products are imported. These taxes are payable directly to the carrier at the time of delivery. No returns will be accepted for non-payment of customs duties. Atelier 1515 reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time of the registration of orders, subject to availability on this date. The products remain the property of L'atelier 1515 until full payment is received. 4- VALIDATION OF ORDER When you click on the "Validate" button after the order process, you agree the fact that you have read and accepted these terms of Sale fully and without reservation. In addition, for any order over 700 euros, an identity document and proof of address will be sent to us by fax, email or post. Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by L'atelier 1515 on the website www.1515-laplace.com constitutes proof of all past transactions. 5- ORDER CANCELLATION You can cancel or modify your order by telephone with L'atelier 1515 at any time; 6- PAYMENT Payment for your purchases can be made by bank transfer, paypal and bank card via the 3d secure online payment solution from Banque Populaire du Massif Central. 7- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL Under article L121-16 of the Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of seven days from the delivery of his order to return products to L'atelier 1515 for exchange or refund, without penalties with the exception of return costs. The returned products must not have been used or damaged, and must be in their original packaging and in good condition, suitable for their re-marketing. 8- DELIVERY The products are dispatched to the address indicated by the user within 4 weeks from the payment of the order, except the necessary manufacturing time and always indicated on the site at the time of the order. In any case, Atelier 1515 cannot be held responsible for any deterioration of the products in the event of late withdrawal from the carrier or non-withdrawal of the products. 9 - RESPONSABILITIES The products offered by L'atelier 1515 comply with current French legislation, our responsibility cannot be engaged in the event of non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the products are delivered. It is up to the buyer to check with local authorities the possibilities of importing or using the products he plans to order. The photographs and texts reproduced and illustrating the products presented are not contractual. Consequently, the responsibility of Atelier 1515 cannot be engaged in the event of an error in one of these photographs or one of these texts. Atelier 1515 cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract concluded in the event of a stock shortage or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, particularly of postal services and means of transport and / or communications, flood, fire. The 1515 workshop will not incur any responsibility for any indirect damage because of the present, loss of exploitation, loss of profit, exchange loss, damage or expense 10- RETURN A damaged package must be refused upon receipt. Reservations must be made during the delivery of the products only in the event of delivery that does not comply quantitatively with the order or when the packaging containing the products has been badly damaged. A delivery that does not comply with the order must be reported 8 days after receipt. 11- GUARANTEE In addition to the legal guarantee against hidden defects, the Atelier 1515 guarantees most of its knives for life, excluding: 1. Products that have been dismantled. 2. Damage, malfunctions or defects attributable to causes of external origin or contrary to the intended use: a knife is not a saw, a nail puller, a lever, a screwdriver or a wood chisel. 3. Damage due to corrosion, oxidation and lack of maintenance. 12- MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF SALES Atelier 1515 reserves the right to modify or, more generally, to update these general conditions at any time and without notice.
