Buffalo - Mother of pearl 1900 insert folding knife
This knife is part of the 1900 collection. It is handcrafted in Thiers, the historic center of French cutlery. The handle is made from buffalo horn, a natural material known for its density and long-term stability.
The blade is hand-forged from stainless damascus steel with 288 layers. This layered construction provides a consistent blade structure suited for careful cutting. The polished finish highlights the damascus pattern and creates a smooth surface.
The handle features a white mother-of-pearl spacer, along with a decorative mother-of-pearl insert combined with 1900-style pinning. St Dupont screws and polished liners reflect precise workshop assembly. The 10 cm blade is secured by a Liner Lock mechanism.
As horn is a natural material, variations in color may occur between pieces. Cleaning after use and storing the knife in a dry environment are recommended to maintain its condition. Each knife is produced through French artisanal craftsmanship.
