folding knife collection 1900 Arizona Ironwood
This knife is part of the 1900 collection. It is handcrafted in Thiers, the historic center of French cutlery. The handle is made from Arizona ironwood, a dense wood species known for its stability and resistance over time.
The blade is hand-forged from stainless damascus steel with 288 layers. This layered structure provides a consistent blade geometry suited for careful cutting. The polished finish highlights the damascus pattern and creates a smooth surface.
The handle features a white mother-of-pearl spacer along with a decorative mother-of-pearl insert combined with 1900-style pinning. St Dupont screws and polished liners reflect precise workshop assembly. The 10 cm blade is secured by a Liner Lock mechanism.
As wood is a natural material, variations in color and grain may occur. Cleaning after use and storing the knife in a dry environment are recommended to maintain its condition. Each knife is produced through French artisanal craftsmanship.
