Ram's horn - rear bolster folding knife
Mouflon Horn Folding Knife with Rear Bolster
This folding knife is crafted in our workshops in Thiers, the historic cradle of French cutlery. The handle is shaped from aged mouflon horn, distinguished by warm, fire-like tones and a natural texture that gives each piece a unique presence. The material is selected, sculpted and polished by hand to reveal its depth and authentic character.
The stainless steel blade in 14C28N features a satin finish with a defined false edge, offering clean lines and reliable cutting performance. The heel of the blade shows a hand-worked detail known as “bouchonnage”, a technique that adds nuance and craftsmanship to the steel. This subtle mark reflects the attention given to even the smallest elements.
The hand-chiseled spacer with rustic leaf motifs, the floral screws and the bouchonné liners highlight the artisanal nature of the knife. Each adjustment is carried out manually to ensure balance, smooth opening and long-term durability. The rear satin-finished bolster completes the silhouette with an elegant and traditional touch.
Choosing this mouflon horn folding knife means selecting a creation shaped according to the finest traditions of Thiers. Every stage—material selection, shaping, finishing and adjustment—is performed with precision, making this knife a refined companion for everyday use as well as a notable piece for any collection.
