Beech standing cut - rear bolster folding knife
Standing-Grain Beech Folding Knife with Rear Bolster – French Handcrafted Excellence
Designed and crafted in Thiers, the historic cradle of French cutlery, this folding knife showcases a distinctive material: standing-grain spalted beech. This vertical cut highlights the natural patterns of the wood, offering a warm, textured and uniquely expressive handle. The satin-finished stainless steel rear bolster adds strength and a refined balance to the piece.
Its 14C28N stainless steel blade is oxidized using traditional acid etching, creating a one-of-a-kind organic pattern on every knife. The secondary bevel provides added precision, suitable for both everyday tasks and more controlled cutting. Each knife is assembled and finished by hand: hand-chiselled leaf spacers, flower screws and matte liners all reflect the meticulous craftsmanship of our workshops.
With a 10 cm blade and a Liner Lock system, this knife is designed for collectors, lovers of fine cutlery and anyone who seeks a refined, durable piece crafted in the finest French tradition.
